The problem

Your reps know things your CRM doesn't

Reps learn the real close date, the budget, and the champion on calls and in Slack, and none of it gets typed in. Your forecast, your handoffs, and any AI you run on your CRM end up working off a deal that's weeks out of date.

Gong call

“We need to sign by mid-January.”

Slack

“Priya’s the exec sponsor now.”

Meeting note

“They’re also looking at Clari.”

Your team talks to customers all day. Quill makes sure your CRM hears it.

Quill Data Capture reads your calls, meetings, Slack threads, and email and updates the right records with what it finds: fields, notes, contacts, and account summaries.

What you get

What Quill does for you

  1. Captures fields as granular as your business

Any field your business tracks, not only next step and close date.

  2. Puts them on the right record

Every update goes to the right account, contact, and deal, on data CRM Hygiene has already cleaned up.

  3. Gets better the more you use it

Correct it once and Quill remembers.

  4. Keeps notes and summaries current

A dated note after every conversation, and a summary on every account.

  5. Lets you decide what gets written

Approve every update, or only the exceptions. You can undo anything.

Your rules

CRM updates that are actually intelligent

During onboarding we teach Quill how your team makes decisions: your disqualification criteria, how you track competitors, when to follow up, and who needs to review what. Quill applies those rules to every conversation, and when something is a judgment call, it asks a person.

On a discovery call

“Right now it’s about 30 people on the team.”

A simple rule would write

Stage: Disqualified

Quill writes

Flagged for disqualification review

Your usual minimum is 50 seats, but size is one signal among several, so the deal stays open until the owner decides.
On a demo

“How do you compare to Clari?”

A simple rule would write

Lost to competitor: Clari

Quill writes

Competitors mentioned: Clari

The buyer asked for a comparison, so the stage and loss reason stay as they are.
At the end of a call

“Reach back out in about three months.”

A simple rule would write

Next step: Follow up in three months

Quill writes

Task for the owner: Follow up on Nov 6

An exact date on the calendar, using your team’s rule of checking in at half the time a buyer asks for.
In Slack

“Anything over $100k goes through our procurement team.”

A simple rule would write

Segment: Enterprise

Quill writes

Decision process: Procurement review above $100k

The account is flagged for your enterprise team, and the segment stays the same until they decide to change it.

In practice

Quill captures customer context for you

Here is the Northwood deal from the top of the page, the way it looks in Quill. Each update links back to the call, message, or note it came from.

Setup

We handle the full setup

We connect your tools, map your fields, and build your agents during onboarding. After that, every conversation is captured automatically. Your reps don't install anything or change how they work.

Compared to call recorders

How Quill is different from your call recorder

Call recorders are built around the call, and updating the CRM is a side feature. Quill is built around your CRM records, and it works with whatever recorder you already have.

FAQ

What is Quill Data Capture?

Quill Data Capture reads your team's calls, meetings, Slack conversations, and email and updates your CRM with what it finds: fields, notes, contacts, and account summaries. Every update shows where it came from, and you decide which ones need your approval.

What does it read from and write to?

Today Quill reads from Gong, Granola, Slack, and email, and writes to Salesforce, HubSpot, and Attio. We're always adding new sources, so get in touch if yours isn't listed.

How is this different from Gong, Momentum, or Attention?

Those tools are built to record and analyze calls, and updating the CRM is an extra. Quill is built to keep your CRM accurate. We capture far more detailed fields, Quill learns from your corrections, and because it runs on top of CRM Hygiene, every update goes to a clean record.

Do we have to set anything up?

No. We connect your sources, map your fields, and build your agents for you during onboarding. After that, every conversation gets captured and there's nothing for your team to maintain.

Will it write to the wrong record or create duplicates?

Quill matches each conversation against your existing accounts, contacts, and deals before it proposes an update, and it won't create a new record just to get around an unclear match. When it isn't sure, it says so and waits for someone on your team.

Can you capture fields specific to us?

Yes. We build capture agents for each customer on your objects, your fields, and your definitions: your qualification framework, your picklists, notes in the format your team reads. We tune them during onboarding and keep tuning them as your process changes.

How do we get started?

Book a 15-minute call. From there we connect your sources and your CRM, run capture on a recent set of conversations, and show you every update it would have made. We handle the setup, and nothing is written to your CRM until you say so.

What happens to our data?

Quill is built for security-conscious companies and regulated industries. We never train foundation models on your data, and we're HIPAA and SOC 2 compliant. Details are on our security page.
