If your call records land in Google BigQuery, such as call outcomes and transcripts, Quill can read them and turn each call that matters into suggested updates into your CRM.
Before you start#
- You need to be a Quill admin to connect BigQuery and choose which tables Quill reads.
- Your CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, or Attio) needs to be connected to Quill, since that’s where updates land.
- You need a Google account with BigQuery Data Viewer on the dataset and BigQuery Job User on the project. Quill’s queries run in your Google Cloud project and are billed there.
Connect BigQuery#
- In Quill, click Connections in the sidebar.
- On the Integrations tab, click Google BigQuery.
- Enter a name for the connection, such as “Call data”, then click Connect.
- Sign in with your Google account and approve the access Quill asks for.
- Back in Quill, Google BigQuery shows on the Connected tab. An admin then chooses which tables Quill reads.
What Quill reads#
Quill has read-only access to the BigQuery tables you enable, which it uses to suggest CRM updates for your team to review, and it never writes to BigQuery.
Disconnect BigQuery#
In Quill, go to Connections, open the Connected tab, click the ⋯ (three dots) menu next to Google BigQuery and choose Disconnect. Quill stops checking your tables for new calls.
