Quill reads your Gong calls and transcripts to keep your CRM accurate. This guide covers who can connect Gong, how to connect it, what Quill reads, and how to disconnect.
Before you start#
- You need to be an admin in your Quill organization.
- You need to be a Technical Administrator in Gong. Gong authorizes apps once for the whole company, so the connection covers your Gong account, not just your own calls.
Connect Gong#
- In Quill, go to Settings > Connections.
- Find Gong and click Connect.
- Sign in to Gong as a Technical Administrator and review the requested access.
- Click Allow. You’re returned to Quill, and Gong shows as Connected.
What Quill reads#
Quill has read-only access to your Gong calls, transcripts and related data, which it uses to suggest CRM updates for your team to review, and it never creates, changes or deletes anything in Gong.
Disconnect Gong#
In Quill, go to Settings > Connections, find Gong and disconnect it. A Gong Technical Administrator can also remove Quill’s access from Gong’s admin settings.
